I've been in the communications business for about 15 years, and to this day, I still get tremendous satisfaction from being in this industry. Every project is different and presents its unique challenges, but the process of creating an arresting visual to support a compelling idea is what drives me. I've designed for print and the Web and everything in-between. These days, I enjoy the challenge and flexibility of web design, so that’s where I do most of my work. Even though I've learned a lot over the years, I feel as though I'm still growing as a designer. When I'm not working on the world’s next greatest website, you can find me banging it out on my drums or strapping on my acoustic guitar. For me it's all about having creative outlets.

 After years of working on projects for others, I decided that the cobbler’s kids should have some decent shoes, too. I think the hardest part about making a site for yourself is that you have fewer restrictions. With a client, you have to balance their needs but it’s a little different when you have a blank canvas staring you right in the face – and it’s supposed to be all about you. I really wanted to say something meaningful about myself. The site wasn’t going to be just about pretty pictures but more about who I am as a creative individual. After working through many designs (and late nights) trying to figure out what I wanted to say, I decided to tap into my early years as an artist. My site is about how I got started, the roots of my art.
